This block is pieced in three sections.  (You may find it easiest to print this pattern three times an piece each section separately, then add them together.)  Piece the center white section first, then either of the two sides. When you print this blocks, double check and make sure it measures four inches as every computer is different.  Don't forget to add a 1/4" seam allowance around all four sides so the block will be 4 1/2" square when you are done paper piecing it.   Click here for directions on how to cut a five pointed star in one snip.
