 Eagle Wall Quilt
The traditional 19th century eagle quilt is brought up to date
for today’s quilter. Big bold shapes make this wall quilt
surprisingly quick to make. Finishes to 19 1/2" x 16 1/2".
 Or,
make this four block intermediate level quilt. Mariner’s Compass
block in center can be pieced by traditional method or foundation
paper pieced. Pattern includes full-size patterns for appliqué
pieces and Mariner’s Compass block, also a Mariner’s Compass
pattern divided into sections for foundation paper piecing

makes a wall quilt for you and one for a friend. Easy “stitch
twice, cut and flip” technique saves time and fabric. Simple
piecing layout creates an on point design without the need to piece
partial blocks or remember math formulas for setting triangles.

assumes familiarity with rotary cutting and machine piecing
