What on Earth is flower pounding? It's the latest
method of making beautiful, gently colored wall hangings while easing
your daily frustrations by pounding on fabric with a hammer:-))
Flower Pounding will have you looking at fresh flowers
in a whole new way. You can make beautiful projects using
flower pounding. It's amazing to see what colors emerge as you
hammer flowers into fabric! They don't always pound into the color
you think they will. For example, red Gerbera daisies can turn
brown when pounded. Purple clematis turn a blackish/brown color.
Lilac colored flowers also tend to turn green when pounded.
Light-colored flowers don't have much pigment, so they make a great water color
effect.
