Walking Foot
This is a special foot which can be attached to a sewing machine. It helps to feed the top layer of a quilt fabric sandwich evenly with the feed dogs feeding the bottom fabric. To determine which foot to order, measure from the screw to the bottom of the foot. If it is 1/2" or less, you need a low shank foot. 1/2" to 1" is a high shank foot. You can double check this by removing removing the entire presser food assembly and measuring it. It it measures 3/4" from top to bottom, you have a low shank machine. If it measures 1-1/4" you have a high shank machine.

Little Foot

This is a special foot that will help you make a perfect 1/4" seam. The high shank foot will fit a singer 301 and all Singer slant machines such as the Athena, Touch & Sew and Futura. The low shank model will fit most models including a featherweight. Bernina machines require an adaptor and Pfaff machines must disengage the duel feed device, remove the snap on shank and screw on the Little Foot.

Darning Foot for Free Motion Quilting
